"Infant John Doe" - 15 Months - St Louis MO/Granite City IL
A St. Louis man was charged Thursday in the beating of a
15-month-old boy at a Granite City motel that left the toddler with
broken bones and missing teeth. Police took the child's mother's
boyfriend, Keshawn Bush, into custody at the motel, according to Granite
City Police Maj. Jeff Connor.

Bush, 26, of 3199 Morgan Ford Road in St. Louis, was charged with one count of aggravated battery to a child.
Police responded about 3 p.m. Wednesday to the Relax Motel, 1100
Niedringhaus Ave., after getting calls that a child was injured"Officers
soon realized this child was injured as a result of an intentional act,
not an accident as first reported," Connor stated. The child was
taken to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis. Doctors
determined the child had some broken bones and several missing teeth. The injuries were non-life threatening and the child remained in the hospital Thursday in stable condition.Police planned to take Bush to the Madison County Jail sometime Thursday night.
