Police and firefighters are looking for a 10-year-old boy reported missing by his mother, early Tuesday morning.
The child was to walk a short distance to his home at 191 Grove St.
after leaving his babysitter’s house at 9 p.m. He was last seen along
the Monroe and Grove street area and reported missing to police by his
mother around 4 a.m. The boy is about 4 feet tall, thin, with black hair
and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a red shirt,
said Passaic Police Lt. Carlos Figueroa.
“Right now we’re going door to door and to friends' homes,” Figueroa said.
“He was supposed to go straight home about a block.”

If anything has happened to this child.....
WTH is a ten year old doing walking anywhere alone in the dark these days???
Couldn't some adult or older child/teen have accompanied him to his home?

Police have found a 10-year-old boy who had been missing since 9 p.m. Monday night.
“He was found with his 14-year-old cousin at the corner of Monroe and
First Street,” said Passaic Police Det. Andy White. “He was walking
with his cousin.”
The boy was found around noontime, White said.
Police and firefighters canvassed the area around the child’s
home at 191 Grove St. hours after the boy left his babysitter’s house at
9 p.m. on Monday and was to walk a short distance to his house. Police
were notified of his disappearance seven hours later.
“He was last seen around 10 p.m. (Monday) with his cousin and family members made a report at about 4 a.m.,” White said.
Police would not elaborate on the circumstances of the disappearance because it is an active investigation.
“We’re questioning both,” he said.
