JACOB THERIAULT - 14 yo - Swansea (N of Fall River) MA

Police are looking for a 14-year-old Swansea boy who has been missing since Aug. 15.



Detective Joseph Martins said the boy, Jacob Theriault, was last seen
in the area
of McDonald’s on Route 6. He is known to frequent the Main
Street area of Somerset
and has several friends in Fall River.

Police said he was a student of Joseph Case Junior High School.

The search for a 14-year-old Swansea boy missing since Aug. 15 is over.

Police said the boy, Jacob Theriault, returned home on Tuesday after The Herald News published a story and photo of the boy in its newspaper and on its web site at the request of police.

The boy was apparently staying with friends, according to police.

Swansea Police Detective Joseph Costa said a Herald News reader saw the story and alerted the family he was staying with, and facilitated his return home.

No further details were immediately available. Police are continuing to investigate.

The boy had last been a student of Joseph Case Junior High School.
