TRAVIS RYDER CASE - 2 Months - Midwest City (N of Tinker AFB) OK

An Oklahoma father has been arrested, accused of abusing his 2-month-old son.Midwest
City police said Christopher Thompson Case's son, Travis Ryder Case,
had a broken bone and two skull fractures. The child is recovering
Tuesday night at the OU Medical Center.Police Chief Brandon Clabes said that if officers had not gotten involved, the infant might not have survived."Had
we not intervened, we feel very certain that the child would have been
subjected to more abuse and possibly would have resulted in death,"
Clabes said.Clabes said the child had a broken femur, two skull
fractures and an old fracture to the wrist. Both parents denied
knowledge of the injuries."We want to know who knew about the abuse and then also why it wasn't reported earlier," Clabes said.Case is charged with three felony counts of child abuse but is out of jail on bond.The child has been placed in DHS custody, authorities said.
