Perez was last seen wearing a white and yellow baseball jersey and could be
in the company of his mother, Maria Apicella, 45.
Perez is described as Hispanic with black hair, brown eyes and 4 feet in height.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a Bradenton 6-year-old thought to have been taken by his mother, authorities said.

Angel Perez went missing Saturday, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He was last seen near the 2000 block of 20th Street Court West in Bradenton, and authorities say he may with his mother, Maria Apicella, 45.

The boy is described as 6 years 9 months old (birthdate of Nov. 3, 2003), standing 4 feet tall and weighing roughly 50 pounds. He is a white Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black-and-yellow baseball jersey.

Apicella is described as a white Hispanic, standing 5-foot-4 and weighing 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

MANATEE COUNTY - Bradenton detectives are on their way to meet with a 6-year-old Bradenton boy who was reported missing and his mother at an undisclosed location in the Tampa area.

A Bradenton boy who disappeared over the weekend was found Wednesday, leading officials to cancel a statewide alert for him. The
Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Wednesday had issued a
"missing endangered child" alert for Angel Perez, 6, who was last seen
Saturday in Bradenton.

FDLE canceled the alert Wednesday afternoon after the boy appeared. He had been with his mother.

"He's safe and sound, and it's a family issue at this point," Bradenton Police Deputy Chief Jeffrey Lewis said.
