"Infant John" AMBUSH - 19 Months - Frederick MD

Frederick police say they have charged a man who tried to suffocate his 19-month-old son.Police say they were called to a home on Fairfield Drive about 5:30 p.m. Friday and found 33-year-old Alton Ambush attempting to suffocate his son. They say despite an officer's pleas for him to stop, Ambush became more enraged and squeezed the child harder.Other officers arrived and fought with Ambush to get him to release the boy, who police say began turning blue.Police say they eventually got the father to let go of his son. The boy recovered after being treated at a hospital.Ambush also was taken to a hospital for evaluation to determine his motive. Police issued an arrest warrant charging him with child abuse, assault and other charges.

Why didn't they just shoot him?

He had better be charged with attempted murder of a child.

i was thinking the same thing-just shoot him! but then the child might have been hit and we dont want that to happen. ppl just do not take seriously how much of a blessing little children r. everything wont b easy but its worth it.
