"Newborn John" RODRIGUEZ - 10 Weeks - Monroe County (E of Wilkes-Barre) PA

A man from Monroe County is locked up , accused of abusing his 10-week-old infant.



Police said Jorge Rodriguez's baby was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and six broken ribs.
Tests showed the baby had earlier injuries, including broken ribs and a broken arm and ankle.

Investigators said Rodriguez, 18, admitted injuring the baby.

He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police and Children and Youth Services are investigating.
